A SMALL WHITE-GLAZED DISH; AND TWO MIRROR-BLACK-GLAZED MINIATURE VASES
QIANLONG (1736-1795) AND 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The very thinly potted dish of cinquefoil shape with wide flaring sides standing on a countersunk base, incised in the central medallion with a writhing five-clawed dragon amongst clouds, the well slip-divided into five section, each containing three linked flower-heads, covered overall in an even white glaze stopping neatly above the foot rim, short rim hairline crack, incised Qianlong four-character seal mark and of the period, 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm.) wide; the vases one of yuhuchun shape, covered on the exterior with a mirror-black glaze, 18th century, 3¼ in. (8 cm.) high; the other with compressed globular body surmounted by a long cylindrical neck, covered overall in a deep aubergine brown glaze, 18th/19th century, 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high (3)
