AUBERGINE KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
With shallow rounded sides rising from a tapering foot to a straight rim, incised and enamelled in aubergine and green in the centre of the interior with two five-clawed dragons around a flaming pearl, on the exterior with four equi-distant grapevine sprays, all on a rich yellow-glazed ground stopping around the unglazed foot
