Shot by Halsman for a Life Magazine photo feature titled 'Eight Girls Try Out Mixed Emotions,' the twenty-three year old starlet was evidently taking the assignment seriously. Also included is the vintage transmittal envelope printed with Halsman's logo and New York City address.
