An off-white cotton sportscoat with narrow rounded lapels, a single-button front closure and an interior label reading "Lansky/Brothers/Corner Beale and 2nd/Memphis, Tenn.;" the tailors Elvis partronized from the early 1950s until his death. Included is a reprinted color image of EP wearing this (or a similar) coat.

Included is a' letter of provenance' typed on 'TCB' letterhead reading in part "My name is Vester Presley and I am Vernon Presley's/brother and Elvis' uncle...This white jacket...belonged to Elvis/(who) bought it at his favorite clothing store here in Memphis,/Lansky Brothers;" signed in the lower right-hand corner in blue ballpoint ink "Best Wishes/Vester Presley."
