Lot Essay

A stool to the same design was featured as part of a 'Chambre à coucher de dame' at the Exposition Internationale des Arts et des Techniques, classe 38, in 1937. This ensemble was illustrated in the official catalogue 'Ensembles mobiliers' section, p. 22, and is reproduced: Félix Marcilhac, op. cit., p. 238.
