The bowl with cyrillic maker's mark MTz over S, Moscow, apparently 1794, assay master Alexei Vikhlyayev, also marked with an unidentified assay master's mark
The baluster form body with nielloed foliate scrolls surrounding medallions decorated with figures, supported on three dolphin feet, the conforming associated cover with a part ebonised wood finial
