A 17th century jewelled gold and rock crystal pendant,
the oval double-sided rock crystal locket with serrated gold rim decorated with cabochon ruby and sapphire quatrefoil clusters set at intervals, the central oval gold frames similarly set with rubies and sapphires and applied scroll motifs within a beaded border, the suspension loop also embellished with rubies and gold scrolls, probably Spanish, two sapphires deficient, 7.8cm. high.
