Patek Philippe had a strong relationship with the watch retailer Gondolo & Labouria in Rio de Janeiro. Most of the watches produced for this partnership were pocket watches. The present lot is a good example of the more rare early wristwatches that Patek Philippe made for sale in Brazil.
