Lot Essay

This watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1961 and its subsequent sale on September 24th, 1980. It is interesting to note that this watch sat unpurchased for 19 years.

Production of this model, reference 2597, began in 1958. It is believed that less that five pieces were produced in pink gold.
