Lot Essay

This watch is interesting as it is nearly identical to a model made by Jaeger-LeCoultre, however the watch is entirely signed Cartier and European Watch and Clock Co. Inc. Considering the close relationship between Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre, it is very possible that the designers of this watch looked directly at the Jaeger-LeCoultre watch when creating the present model.
