With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, the black dial with Arabic numerals, two engine-turned subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minute register, the circular case with downturned lugs, snap on back, two lozenge-shaped chronograph buttons in the band, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

In the 1930s it was very rare for a lady's watch to be fabricated in stainless steel, a metal more closely associated with military and tool watches. This watch is even more unusual in that it features a chronograph with register - at a time when complicated lady's watches were virtually never known.
