With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, metal dust cap, the silvered dial with applied Arabic and dot numerals, outer 60 minutes track, three engine-turned subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 60 minute and 12 hour registers, the stainless steel circular water-resistant-type case with pink gold bezel and two-tone downturned triangular lugs, stainless steel screw back, pink gold crown and two round pink gold chronograph buttons in the band, case, dial and movement signed

The inside of the caseback bears the stamp 'FB Patent', which is the hallmark for F. Borgel, a case maker who worked in Geneva for many watch companies including Patek Philippe and Movado. Borgel's specialty and patent was for water-resistant screw-back cases, such as the present example.
