With nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the white dial with applied square and luminous indexes to the outer black chapter ring, three black engine-turned subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers, the tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with black bezel calibrated for 200 units per hour, screw back and screw down crown, two screw down chronograph buttons in the band, together with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster riveted bracelet and clasp, case, dial and movement signed
36 mm. diam.

Lot Essay

This model, reference 6240, was introduced in 1965 as being one of the first Daytona models to have screw down buttons.
