TWO YUMA POLYCHROME FEMALE DOLLS
the first, standing on raised heels, with arms folded in front, wearing a fiber skirt with a black cotton band at the waist and two strands of beads on the neck, the narrow head, with finely modelled eyes and prominent nose, decorated with linear tattoo markings painted in pink, the eyes and chin outlined in black, long horsehair coiffure, inscribed TYm-1-P and 1938,427; the second, standing on a circular platform, wearing cloth garments and beaded collar, the modelled head, with features painted in black, linear tattoo markings in red, long horsehair coiffure, inscribed Yuma, TYu-2-P, and 1938.428
