A SOUTHERN PLAINS BEADED HIDE BOW CASE AND QUIVER
PROBABLY CHEYENNE OR ARAPAHO
composed of a cylindrical bow case and tapering quiver, suspended on a broad shoulder strap, decorated with panels of red wool trade cloth trimmed with hemispherical brass tacks and bands of blue and white beadwork, sinew sewn in a typical pattern of obtuse triangles, each opening overlaid with banded beadwork in blue, yellow, white and translucent green beads, the pendant tabs with picot and coiled beadwork in similar colors
