Each campana-shaped, on slightly domed circular foot, with guilloche borders, the partly-fluted body with two bifurcated serpent handles, the plain collar with beaded border, and with plain cylindrical liner, the bodies each engraved twice with a coat-of-arms, the collars engraved with a crest, each marked on foot-rim, collar and liner

The arms are those of Trafford impaling Colman for Thomas Trafford of Trafford Park (1778-1852) and his wife Laura-Anne, daughter of Francis Colman Esq., of Hillersdon Park, co. Devon, whom he married in 1803. Thomas was created a baronet in 1841 and in the same year changed his name by Royal License to de Trafford. (2)
