Mark of Ernest Sieber, London, 1748
Pear-shaped, on circular foot, with part-wood scroll handle and foliage-capped partly-fluted spout, the body cast and chased with scrolls and fluted and applied coffee beans and leaves, the sides with two vignettes of figures and animals at a fountain, and a wayfarer seated by a fountain, all in wooded landscapes, the hinged cover applied with cast foliate and floral finial, engraved with a coat-of-arms in scrolling floral cartouche and a crest, marked under base
