A Queen Anne silver cruet-frame
Mark of Edmund Pearce, London, 1707, the spouts, London, 1903
The frame on three feet with baluster supports above, with five ringed sections and two smaller rings, the detachable central baluster stem with double scroll ring handle, fitted with one large and two smaller pear-shaped casters, each with bayonet-fitting pierced domed cover with baluster finial, chased with scalloped borders, also with two cut-glass bottles with silver covers and separate later silver spouts, the casters each engraved with a coat-of-arms in foliate mantling and a crest, the same crest engraved on the bottle mounts, a later differing crest engraved under the frame and casters, marked on base of frame, one caster, and spouts, traces of marks on another caster, the frame and casters also later engraved '1707'
