Paris, 1809-1819, maker's mark lacking, attributed to Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot
Slightly compressed spherical on circular foot, with stiff-leaf borders, the sides applied with figures of the infant Bacchus and Cupid astride lions, with paterae above, the scroll handle with grotesque mask spout, and with double serpent handle, the hinged flat cover with wooden button finial, the cover later engraved with the Royal Arms, marked under base and foot-rim
