THE FIRST CIRCA 1815, IMPRESSED MARK; THE REMAINDER EARLY 19TH CENTURY, THE DERBY EXAMPLE WITH IRON-RED CROSSED BATONS MARK
The first painted with borders of leaves and trailing gilt branches interspersed with iron-red flowers, the cover with a flame finial, with bird-head terminals and richly-gilt loop handles (minor damage and restoration); the Derby example painted and gilt in the Imari palette, with richly-gilt snake terminals; the three other vases painted with colourful bouquets of flowers reserved on a dark-blue-ground decorated with gilt scrolls (rubbing to gilding generally) (2)
