VARIOUS DATES, FROM CIRCA 1760-1820, THE SEVRES SUGAR-BOWL WITH INTERLACED L MARKS
Comprising a faience blue and white white example painted with sprigs and flower-sprays; a faience example painted with green flowers, with a double green stem handle and berry finial; a third faience example painted with a collection of fruit within landscape, the finial modelled as a berry sprig; an English creamware example painted with puce flowers and scatterd sprigs; an English pearlware example printed in blue with boaters and a fisherman on a lake within landscape; a Paris example enamelled with green leaves, below a green scroll handle and knop; and a Tournai example printed in blue with a vignette of a bird in flight above stylised Oriental flowers and trees, within basket-moulded borders; a Chinese example painted with scattered flower-sprays, the cover with a berry finial and a Sèvres miniature sugar-bowl and cover with blue interlaced monogram SL, within a gilt wreath cartouche, the cover with a flower finial, within gilt dentil-rims (some damages and flaking to enamels generally)
