Levels: one bottom neck, one very top, three top, one just below top shoulder, four top/upper and two upper shoulder; some tissue stained labels, lightly bin soiled labels
Followed for nealy four decades, and all pretty impressive, the exception being curiously variable bottles at Dr Taam's seminal 1961 horizontal in 1978, and a 'gnarled oak', mellow but tannic bottle at a New York Wine Society's' exponential' tasting (1998). Most recently, two superlative bottles, one at the Irish Club in London in 1999, the other dinning in Pfaffikon, near Zurich, after Wagner's Matgaux vertical. Last noted Nov 2000. At best *****.
