The 1994 vintage is often overlooked, sandwiched in-between the hugely succesful 1993 and 1995 vintages. This was very much a "winemaker's vintage". The serious growers that cropped their harvest were able to avoid rot and let their grapes ripen on the vines made some really terrific wines.
These wines are often overlooked and reasonably priced, they are excellent values for current drinking.
