of melon-fluted compressed pear shape, on berried foliate feet and with a conforming everted rim, chased rising curved spout, chased scroll handle and domed hinged cover with flower finial, decorated overall with chased and embossed flowers and foliage and with two cartouches, one engraved with a crest, Richard Atkins & William Somersall, London 1835 - 7¼in. (18.50cm.), 24.25oz.
