The shaded tomato-red field with large ivory medallion with hooked palmette pendants containing angular vine enclosing ice-blue radiating floral centrepiece, ice-blue spandrels with single large palmette, in shaded deep rust border of bold palmettes and angular floral vine between floral and barber-pole stripes, outer plain stripe, areas of wear, scattered old repairs, very slight loss on guar stripe at one end, slight fading in one corner, small localized loss on cord at each side
