Lot Essay

This design, number 201795, was registered and patented by the Falkirk Iron Company at the Public Records Office on 27th September 1866.

The Falkirk Foundry, along with Carron, was one of seven foundries in Falkirk making garden furniture and, in 1900, produced a Castings Catalogue, this larger version being umbrella stand No 26A.
