woven in gilt thread, silks and peacock feather filament with a front-facing dragon above a rockwork and sea-wave border, flanked by smaller dragons--28 x 39in. (71 x 99cm.), probably from an altar frontal, 18th century with later borders; a silk kesi robe panel woven with four dragons chasing flaming pearls above a sea-wave border, with clouds and bats between--36½ x 64in. (93 x 162cm.), late 19th, from a formal court robe, trimmed with kinran borders; two robe panels of blue silk brocaded in metal thread with similar motifs--58 x 17½in. (147 x 44.5cm.); and a panel of figured silk, woven with a lattice of dragons and phoenixes within geometric medallions--57 x 28½in. (144 x 72cm.), 20th century (5)
