A painting in ink and slight colour on paper, 18th century
depicting a bearded dignitary being pushed in a chair by an attendant, a pedlar to his side and two paupers kneeling before him, set in a river landscape before a walled pavilion with a lady and child standing in the doorway, all below three lines of calligraphy and two seals -- 37in. x 18in. (94cm. x 45.7cm.), mounted, framed and glazed.
