A carved hardwood and glazed display cabinet, inscription to the reverse dating to the 36th year of Qianlong (1772) and possibly of the period
of rectangular form, the glazed front before four shelves at various levels carved with scrollwork designs on turned supports, the similarly carved feet with shaped apron between, the back panel decorated with dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst cloud scrolls and a central rectangular panel reading "respectfully made in the 36th year of Qianlong" -- 24¾in. (62.8cm.) high.
