etching and drypoint, 1648, the very rare first state (of three), with an indistinct watermark, a fine impression, with burr to the figures at the left, trimmed inside the platemark, occasionally just touching the subject, a foxmark in the upper centre of the subject, the tips of the lower corners slightly thin on the reverse where previously mounted
