FACE Ia: engraved with an hour dial 1-12 (x2) (gnomon lacking) and incised corner decoration
FACE Ib: a latitude scale up the right-hand side 0-80°, central calendar disc with central foliate-engraved silver volvelle with moon phase aperture and index pointer for the next volvelle, graduated in days 1-30, this with index pointer for the main disc graduated in twice twelve hours and days of the month, the surround finely decorated with foliate engraving
FACE IIa: a folding silver arm on the right-hand side for the latitude scale, central glazed compass with hand-coloured engraved paper with latitude table, blued-iron needle with brass cap and pierced and foliate-shaped eliptical silver azimuth hour scale VII-I, XII-V, with pierced foliate decoration, the surround of the face with engraved foliate decoration
FACE IIb: silver calendar scale with an engraved pointing finger outside, and central perpetual calendar square, with two silver hooks and nails and silver cover for gnomon recess
