the brick-red field with two columns of large primitive Tauk Nuska guls in yellow, indigo, fox-red, ivory, yak-brown and blue divided by hooked cruciform motif and small flowerheads surrounded by ivory stylised stepped lozenge border between flowerhead and barber-pole stripes, kelim stripe at each end, areas of slight wear --10ft.5in. x 5ft.3in.(317cm. x 160cm.)
