Levels: very top shoulder or better
Long thought of as wine of the vintage, the '66 Latour is one of my all time favorites to drink now and in years to come. From bottle the wine is smooth, with almost Lafite like finesse; from magnum a wine of more restraint and power. Everything we define as a great wine is concentrated here in this wine. The plateau of its maturity will continue amazingly for another 10 years. Everyone should take the opportunity to experience this once. ST
