the gilt chain fusee movement with fine chaised and pierced cock and foot, a glazed sector in the cock revealing the mock pendulum and beat scale, regulated by a steel toothed wheel, decorative blued steel support, decorative pierced Egyptian pillars, silver champleve dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute divisions, diamond halfhour marks, inner half hour ring, gilt wheatear design to the rim, blued steel beetle and poker hands, decorative signed cartouches to the centre, in plain silver inner case with ring pendant and split bezel, seven piece hinge, makers mark VB, in similarly marked plain silver outer case with square hinge, dial signed, movement signed and numbered, cases numbered
