the gilt chain fusee movement with verge escapement, silver cock and foot to the edge of the top plate, pierced Egyptian pillars, the silver champleve dial plate with Roman hour sector VI-VI, outer Arabic five minute divisions in cartouches, sector to the centre revealing a silver disc for the sun and moon with stars in a blue background, central blued steel minute hand of poker design, lower half of the dial with scroll work and mythical birds, gilt wheat-ear design to rim, plain inner case, plain outer case with watch paper, both cases with makers mark WB, dial, movement signed
