The á tact system is so designed that the pointer, in this case on the front cover, can be rotated in a clockwise direction until it comes to a 'stop', regulated by the watch mechanism, enabling the blind person to feel the time to the nearest quarter hour by the aid of the pins and the indentations in the band.
