signed Breguet, no. 2248, case no. 1451, circa 1809
the frosted gilt 8 day movement with four wheel train and extra large mainspring, monometallic three armed balance, ruby endstone, ruby cylinder escapement, parachute shock absorption, repeating hours and quarters á toc by operating the twist plunger in the band, under hinged signed and numbered cuvette, the white enamel dial with eccentric chapter ring, Arabic numerals and blued steel moon hands, signed on the back Borel, in plain gold case with ribbed band and ring pendant, case makers mark JLJ in a lozenge, numbered under the dial 2248, gold and guarantee mark from 1798-1809, silver tipsey key, with extract from the Archives and copy of the original certificate, stating the watch was sold in 1807 for FF2,000, case, dial signed and numbered
