A LOUIS XVI ORMOLU AND WHITE ALABASTER STRIKING SKELETON CLOCK
LATE 18TH CENTURY
The white enamel Arabic dial with raised gilt dot five minute markers and inner concentric calendar ring with crimson numerals, with silk suspension regulation through numeral 60, pierced ormolu hands and with blued steel calendar hand, skeletonised centre, the eight day twin barrel movement with recoil escapement and outside countwheel strike on bell
