The oval waisted body reserved with four ogival cartouches minutely painted with various European and exotic figures at various pursuits in elaborate attire, e.g. commercial and Indes galantes scenes, one scene with a ziggurat or tower of Babel, in landscapes with a rocky coast and a sea with sailing vessels, the inside gilt, the outside of the bombé cover en suite to the body, the inside gilt and reserved with an ogival cartouche depicting an exotic boar hunt (the mount and cover loose from the body)
