THE DELFT CIRCA 1738, THE SILVER AMSTERDAM 1947, MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCT
Moulded in relief with a central cartouche depicting a promenading gentleman and with rectangular protruding holder, flanked by acanthus scrolls and surmounted by another smaller crowned cartouche inscribed 1738 above F A B and flanked by recumbent lions, the blue ground reserved with scrolling foliage, the raised border with scrolls, the upper and lower part with a mascaroon in relief, the upper one with two openings for hanging
