THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1720-25, THE DECORATION CIRCA 1725
The lower part of the teabowl and underside of the saucer moulded with flutes, some gilt at intervals, the teabowl frieze gilt with Orientals and birds supported by a continuous angular and scrolling gilt line above a line of gilt dot ornament, the interior with a scalloped gilt band border edged with dot ornament on one side and scrolls on the other, the saucer with a man chasing a fox by a river in a wooded landscape with distant buildings, within a quatrefoil cartouche edged with angular scrolls and a similar border (some wear to gilding, fence on saucer possibly refreshed, slight chipping to footrim)
