The Meissen teabowl and saucer painted in the typical palette with flowering shrubs issuing from two banded hedges, the flowers enriched with gilding, the interior of the teabowl with a flower-spray, with brown line rims (teabowl with small shallow chip to side of footrim, saucer with some areas of wear); the Japanese teabowl of slightly more flared form, similarly decorated with flowering shrubs issuing from two banded hedges, the reverse with a flowering branch, the interior with a stylised flowerhead (broken through and restuck)
