1760, BLUE INTERLACED LS ABOVE DATE LETTER H, PAINTER'S MARK FOR THEVENET
Of cube form on four square feet, the ground with gilt vermiculé decoration within gilt lines at the corners and rims, reserved on each side with shaped panels painted with bouquets within gilt line cartouches, the broad gilt upper rim with four gilt cone finials, the base with five pierced apertures for drainage (upper rim and finials with wear to gilding, finials restored replacements, one foot with minute chipping)
