Two Meissen models of deer
CIRCA 1745-50, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS TO SIDE OF BASES
Both modelled standing, the stag to the right and the doe to the left, the stag with his head very slightly turned and his five-pointed antlers upright, the doe eating foliage with her head bent down, both with white chests and short tails, their coats with fine brown markings, supported below by tree-stumps on shaped rectangular mound bases applied with coloured flowers and foliage (stag with restored replacement ears and antlers, restoration to front right and rear right legs, doe with section of rear left leg restuck and small chip to right ear, both with chipping to flowers and foliage and slight wear to enamels)
