See Rainer Rückert, Meissener Porzellan (Munich, 1966), nos. 978 and 885 for similar examples. The group of the tailor's wife was first modelled by Eberlein in 1740, and the other by Kändler in 1740. Also see Carl Albiker, Die Meissner Porzellantiere im 18. Jahrhundert (Berlin, 1959), nos. 265 and 266. Another pair of similar groups are illustrated by P.W. Meister, Sammlung Pauls, Riehen, Schweiz, Porzellan des 18. Jahrhunderts (Frankfurt, 1967), Vol. I, pp. 292-293.
