stamped with the signature 'Degas' (Lugt 658; on the base); stamped with the foundry mark and numbered 'A.A. Hébard cire perdue 48/F' (on the base)
bronze with brown patina
Height: 12 in. (30.5 cm.)
The original wax model executed between 1882-1895 and cast in an edition of 22 bronze examples between 1919 and 1937 and later, numbered from A to T, plus two casts, numbered HER and HERD, reserved for the Degas heirs and Hébrard
