A Restauration large ormolu striking lyre clock, circa 1825
The case with four columns topped by floral finials, with lyre mounts to the front, the base and socle cast with acanthus and raised on block feet, with conforming bezel to the engine-turned chapter ring with individual Roman circlets, the centre also engine-turned and with reserve for signature (rubbed), blued steel moon hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 23½in. (60cm.) high
