With brass urn finials to the arched pediment, brass-framed hygrometer above bayonet-fixed mercury thermometer, with cross-banding around brass bezel of white enamel Roman clock dial, single fusee movement with arched plates signed Graham/London/No.281, with plain flat-rim balance with engraved cock positioned on the back plate (later movement and dial), with concave brass bezel to the 11½in. diameter silvered dial, signed on the spirit level below Jas. Gatty/No.130/High Holborn/LONDON -- 48in. (121cm.) high
