The waisted pediment with shell-carved moulding and formerly flanked by finials, solid sides and rear door with fret panel, with silvered sight ring to brass dial with foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre, the eight day twin barrel movement with anchor escapement and ting-tang strike on gong, stamped for LENZKIRCH -- 15in. (38cm.) high
