A French giant brass and champlevé enamel striking four-glass mantel clock, circa 1895
The case with spire finials, with panels of polychrome enamel to the front and sides and to each of the four inset columns, bevelled glasses, on toupie feet, the off white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with blue and black numerals, painted swags and enamel centre mount, gilt-metal hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with strike on gong, the steel rod pendulum with enamel disc mount to the bob -- 23¾in. (60cm.) high
